Pivot Tables for Appraisers will provide an introduction to using the pivot table tool in Microsoft Excel for residential real estate appraisal. The class will cover:
- Review of downloading data from MLS systems
- Refresher on Microsoft Excel skills to manipulate data (copy, cut, paste, etc.)
- What is a Pivot Table?
- Working with Pivot Tables
- Uses and examples
We'll spend the rest of the class discussing and building a work file template usable for every report.
This is a hands-on class that requires you to bring a PC or laptop.
Each student must bring a laptop or PC with Microsoft Excel 2007 or later installed with the latest updates. Tablets and older versions of Microsoft Excel will not be supported so if you don't have a recent version of Excel on a PC or laptop, don't come to the class!
Cost is $50 for members/$75 for non-members and includes beverages and muffins from the Dante Club. Lunch is not included in this class.
The instructor is Joe Lynch, REAA Sacramento Chapter President. He has been using pivot tables in his appraisals for almost ten years.
