This two hour panel will discuss current and future planning and development trends in the Sacramento region. Topics to be explored include:

  • Housing supply shortage and development trends
  • Employment trends
  • Regional transportation
  • Migration into and out of the Sacramento region
  • Homelessness
  • Progress on current projects

Our panelists are Greg Chew, senior planner from the Sacramento Area Council of Goverments (SACOG), Ben Van der Meer, real estate reporter from the Sacramento Business Journal, and Neal Best, Senior Vice President of Business Development for the Greater Sacramento Economic Council. Bill McKnight, REAA Corporate President, will serve as moderator.

This class is approved for two hours of continuing education from the California Bureau of Real Estate Appraisers (Approval #18CP986603089)

Cost is $30 for members/$60 for non-members and includes dinner at the Dante Club.
